Revival is a joy for those of us who relished the Sixties folk music "boom" and never stopped embracing the new singer-songwriters who plied their craft over the next five decades. It is not only a tale of the continuing revival of a musical form, but a story of how even our failed dreams can be revived through the care and support we give to others. Scott Alarik's prose, like his songs and his music criticism, is written in a voice that impels us to follow the best that is in us. And, yes, he is a wonderful fellow to interview because his stories never stop and his enthusiasm never wavers. He is one class act.
